Justice Korys parents had named him that in the hope that hed become a lawyer or summat like that, and make the family proud. Truth was, a fancy name didnt guarantee a fancy school, and Justices upbringing held him back. Teachers used to say he was a bright kid, could go far, but in the small Georgia State town of Cayro, the farthest a man could go was manager of the convenience store. Cayro Convenience already had a manager, so Justice had to make do with delivery boy.

Wed all read the story of the Englishman whod been electrocuted in his swimming pool. We remarked on how sad it was and my grandmother warned us to stay out of the pool when the storms came. Nathans Writing Guide: Part I The Basics
Theres a hell of a lot of creative writing all over the internet, and frankly most of it is rubbish. If you want to rise above that and become one part of the minority of decent writers, then this guide is for you. Whether youre into original fiction, fan fiction, poetry, non-fiction, whether youre writing for fun, for the hope of getting published or any other reason, there are rules you need to follow (and once you know them, you know how to break them!).

Welcome in, you cant come out.
Find your place at the back
You must only whisper, never shout.
Hidden in a mind of doubt,
Reasons to stay begin to stack,
Welcome in, you cant come out.
With all the hatred that they spout,
A vicious sermon should make you crack
You must only whisper, never shout.
Because you might break what they vowed
And raising hell, you have the knack.
Welcome in, you cant come out.
So try to take another route
But youll still end joining this pack
You must only whisper, never shout.
Bullying friends, a violent lout,
Intolerant church, all a fact.
Welcome in,

Perfect Scars -III- Rebellion
The Rebellion came
And bottled up anger
Stormed out on the world.
The first sign was too short
And then they disappeared.
Hidden meetings with like minds,
Tears that fell when locked away,
Perfect scars on imperfect body.
All for Unconditional
With only one last clause

The first thing was his voice
He sang like an angel
A beautiful angel of music
That would come and free me.
He unlocked my heart
And opened it to something new
I forgot who I was, who he was
Everything seemed possible.
Then the cd stopped playing
I found myself standing all alone
The room got cold and I shivered
Then I pressed the play button.
Music filled out my soul
With words that made me cry
Words that made my heart melt
If only he was singing to me
Then I met his eyes
Eyes that told me everything
Eyes that free me forever
From the feeling of being unloved
Im falling, falling for you

I'm back. I have a subscription. I'm writing more. I'm commenting and critiquing more.
If you want me to comment or critque your work, just send me a link and I'll get right on it. There are just a couple of rules:
1. No fanfiction.
2. Nothing too long. No 100 page epics. I'll happily comment on the first chapter of a longer piece and read on if I like it.
3. Poetry, fiction prose and playscripts only. I'm rubbish at non-fiction and screenplays and wouldn't be able to give accurate feedback.
4. Please be respectful if I give negative feedback - I'll happily explain the reasons behind it and help you try to improve.
5. Read my guides
I've been busily commenting on various people's work and I'm featuring some of the best I've read.
Poetry:
:thumb86645220: - The Boy Who Smoke Followed by azen-te
:thumb86804662: - In Paris by bekkia
:thumb76328151: - Famously In Love by IchBinInDerLiebe
Prose:
:thumb42497277: - At Most, A Soldier by MystiqueDeep
This is a small selection, because they're the four pieces that really impressed me on reading. If you want to be featured in July, keep sending me your work. I read and comment everything I'm sent.
Thanks!
I've decided on my career path, finally. I want to be a literary editor. And now I want to get some practice in.
If you have a piece of poetry or prose that you want some honest feedback on from someone who knows what they're talking about, get in contact with me. I will be completely honest and will help you to make your work better. If you're fed up of 'Omg so kawaii! ^__^' type comments and want some proper comments, send me a note or a comment with a link to your work and I'll get back to you with feedback and advice. I will read and comment on EVERYTHING.
I'm also going to do a monthly journal feature of the best work I'm sent.
